Stephanie Risinger
Stephanie is a clinically licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Kansas and a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in Missouri. Early in her career she worked in an adolescent pregnancy prevention program and learned the degree to which women are undereducated in regard to their reproductive health and thus began her journey toward educating herself and others.

Stephanie went on to experience her own challenges in trying to grow her family. From that experience, Stephanie developed a sense of purpose in helping women find and live from their inherent worth, regardless of their fertility and motherhood challenges. She shifted her clinical focus to working with providers, faith leaders, and families facing challenges during the reproductive years.
Stephanie received her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University in 2009. In addition, Stephanie has served as an adjunct professor of psychology and counseling and has been a featured speaker at numerous community events, organizational meetings, trainings, and women’s events and conferences. She is a certified perinatal mental health provider and has a certificate in biblical counseling.
Stephanie lives with her husband and two children in the Kansas City metropolitan area. She enjoys music, the outdoors, reading, and following Jesus.

Stephanie has been in clinical practice since 2008, working in various mental health settings. She specializes in perinatal mental health and is a board approved clinical supervisor in Kansas. Stephanie has taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels and has been a featured speaker at national and local conferences and trainings.
Training
Stephanie specializes in Perinatal Mental Health, which includes pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, loss, and all things connected. She meets with individuals and couples navigating the complexities of the journey to and through parenthood.
